About Miho S Watson Design

Nobody gets to live twice.

Ability to Bridge the Gap between the Art of Design and the Art of Programming

I fervently believe that business transformation does not happen overnight and by itself. At the outset, it only takes the consolidation of business intelligence, process improvements and sales and marketing to make it work. However, looking deeper into the trend, these requisites must be founded from a foolproof and user-friendly web application development which is devised not only to ensure business growth, keep up with the times, secure long-term business lifespan but also to raise public awareness of the company’s brand. I am convinced that business growth merely follows the ripple-effect of sustaining branding excellence following from topnotch optimization of graphic design and front-end web development. In my latest career engagement with Flatirons Solutions, Inc., I was able to deliver scalable design solutions for Applied Materials Global Service, being the project lead on the latest digital elements and overall technological initiatives, overseeing the entire design cycle of templates and vector artworks that advanced brand image and fulfilled client needs in instructor-led and web-based training materials.

Extensive Knowledge and Experience in Project Management and Product Development

Given my solid background in spearheading design briefs, I have developed task and time management skills and ability to organize and prioritize work to meet organization’s needs and exercise proper judgment in making decisions in order to complete all the tasks within strict deadlines. With my critical and analytical thinking abilities, I can quickly evaluate the situation, troubleshoot, and find effective solutions to deliver quality product that satisfy client’s purpose and their business goals. Among my most notable achievements was pioneering the design of the revolutionary Applied Materials TechGuide for AGS and subsequently managed revisions to meet new specifications. I ensured the alignment of technical implementation and business process trends by fostering productive engagement with stakeholders and SMEs, vis-à-vis clients’ business teams, to provide design consultation.

Demonstrates Quick Adaptability to New, Crucial Skills and Environments

Throughout my career, I have been immersed to, not only challenging, but also diverse, high-impact environments where competitive performance is demanded and assigned duties require utmost sense of precision and strategy. My first career engagements exposed me to tasks which, in the beginning, were foreign to me; but nonetheless, I performed with merit. I then recently completed my certifications in HTML5 and CSS and built my own website and maintained a user-friendly, mobile-suitable interface, acquired from implementing visual elements and mastering the techniques in coding, front-end development, and data analytics and visualization. I account this feat to my ability to learn from mere observation and research. Aside from that, not only did I significantly acquire the aptitude to manage time-pressured and highly demanding tasks, I also demonstrated my inquisitiveness in the different cultures of the key stakeholders I encounter in a day-to-day basis. Thus, I was able to develop cross-cultural communication which I leverage in establishing enduring and reliable vendor and client base and partner networks.

About Japanese Translation

It is not a translation. It carries the real meanings in a different language.

Throughout my translation career, I've worked so many technical translation, music websites, or voiceover for company internal training. I've noticed that the Japanese does not work like English. Direct translation is not incorrect; however, it definitely lose the atmosphere. I aim to keep the real meanings and the feelings that the original documents carry.

Currently I accept the translation request as a part time. If you are interested in, please drop a line.
